I'm not sure how anyone could NOT like this amp. It's small and light, it certainly packs a punch for its size and wattage and has lots of practical features. Perhaps the only negative being the flimsy grill. Surely a perforated metal grill wouldn't cost much more or effect the weight significantly. I've found the amp can be used as a monitor for larger gigs or as a PA in small venues. I've used it with a shure mic mixer to incorporate several mics and guitars. The Roland provides the effects, and can even send a signal to powered extension speakers. The tilt feature is handy as are all the outputs. MSRP is a bit high, but on ebay they can often be had very reasonably.
I bought this for my violin after I've tried out the AC-90 from a friend. The sound is awesome!!! For violin, I have to turn down the treble and mid a little bit, and turn up the base to get the right sound. I think the sound from the AC-90 is slightly better, probably because it has separate tweeters and 8" speakers compared to the dual 6.5" speakers on AC-60, but overall it still sounds very good. It is solidly built and heavier than I expected for a compact amp. You won't go wrong with this amp.

I already had the AC 33, and wanted a little more power for some bigger gigs. The AC 60 is perfect for venues u to 150 or so people. It sounds just as good as the AC 33. It has said for itself several times over.

This is my first Roland amp, and I love it. The sound is rich and deep. I've owned Pevey E208 and Fender Mustangs, but this gives you all the bells and whistles other than downloadable settings with the Mustang. The outputs are good and give you an option for stereo output. Haven't tried vocals yet, but my Takamine sounds great.

Great sound and great features in a size that makes it very attractive for the solo performer. With separate channels for the mic and the guitar, set up is a breeze, and the carry case is very handy . I recently used mine for the first time at a coffee shop gig and just set it within reach on a small table, using the tilt stand. Feedback was non-existent, and many compliments were received. Needless to say, I’m very pleased.
