Best head set for my computer ever purchased! Sound is awesome. Mic works great. The only thing I don't like is the USB port. Now I have to switch manually from speakers to head phones. Before when using the speaker plug ins there did not exist this problem. Both speakers and head set could be used at the same time. Now I have to chose manually which one to listen to.

I was hoping it would be good while playing games but the sound quality isn't very good. I think the word "muddy" describes the sound quality very well. I have yet to try the mic. It's probably very good for use with voice chat but that's not what I got it for. Also, it felt and fit well over my ears and on my head.

Pros: * Very comfortable - The padding is great. Those who spend a lot of time wearing a headset know that a bad set often pinches your ears or puts too much pressure of them. These can be worn for hours and hours with no pain. * Built in volume/microphone controls - There is a control unit built onto the line itself that allows you to adjust volume on the fly, as well as mute the microphone (and has a nice little light that comes on to let you tell whether the mic is muted or not at a glance). *Stays on your head - No dealing with a pair of ill-fitting headphones that slide off your head if you so much as tilt it. I can shake my head around and these suckers won't come off. If you like your headset a little looser, it can be adjusted if you want. *Price - $30 or less retail, I picked up a pair here on Ebay for under $2. Cons: * Lifespan: The microphone has a tendency to burn out after about a year or so. The headphones themselves do not have this issue though, and so even after the mic is burnt out, they can continue to be used as a pair of headphones. * USB Plug Only - Have to use up a precious USB slot for these bad boys. Not as much of an issue on modern computers which tend to have them to excess, but it could be on ones with no front USB ports or limited number of ports. All in all, if you're looking to get a good headset for not too much money, I haven't found a headset that I like better. Just be prepared to shell out a bit more dough in about a year or so for a new pair. It's almost like clockwork.Read full review
I've used this particular model for years. I actually have and use the ones I bought 6 years ago and they are still going strong. I bought these for a friend and she also is impressed with them. They're comfortable, very clear, with a strong cord which I've yet to break. You could do a whole lot worse for a whole lot more money!

The mike (& noise canceling) seems to be ideal for teleconferences. The ear volume could use higher strength when teleconference callers are faint, but at normal volumes of speech is just fine.. The ear pads are fine for the my max 1 to 1 1/2 hour at a time usage.
