    Great UPS on a budget

    I Purchased the CyberPower 2200VA UPS to keep my NAS running and internet connection alive when the power goes out. It really couldn't be easier to setup. Just plug the unit into the power and plug any device you what protected into it, and you are good to go. There is also an optional USB connection for the NAS so it can monitor the power state. Then the NAS can be setup to protect itself prior to the UPS running out of battery power. In my setup (6 drive NAS, modem and router) it lasts at least 40mins There is an audible alert when the power goes out and the UPS switches to its battery, this will sound periodically until power comes back on. The UPS automatically switches back again when power is restored and for the price I think it great value.

    Terrible noise. Tech support hasn't responded with proposed solution.

    This item looks good and works OK, but it makes a HORRIBLE noise that you can hear several rooms away when the battery operates. I have reported this to technical support but they became defensive and have not (yet) provided a solution. If this issue is solved the product will get maximum marks (except for quality assurance), but until then I can't mark it positively given my experience to date.

    CyberPower 2200VA UPS, good buy with nice features.

    Purchased the CyberPower 2200VA UPS to keep my NAS devices and internet connection alive when working from home. The unit itself is a pretty easy setup with 4 outlets on the rear, There is an audible alert when the power goes out and the UPS switches to battery, this will sound periodically until power is restored.. Swithching to the UPS and back again when power is restored is very quick and so far has not caused any problem for me. A good quality UPS for home.

    Ran computer plus modem without 240 connected. After 1hr UPS 65%. After 2hr 8%. Last hr drained battery faster. Bit noisey when operating but no noise when in standby mode.
