Since I don't have a dictionary app on my cell phone I find this Franklin Dictionary a great item to have around. I am not the best speller (who is) and with this little electronic dictionary I can type in a word and if it's spelled wrong, but fairly close, it gives me a list of words to choose from. As a dictionary it is as well very useful to someone like me with out such conveniences on their phone. With a phone app, I suppose it would not be quite so useful. But, for folks like me, it's great

Didn't need the extras. Screen is hard to read unless it is facing the light just right. Don't like the way the information is listed on the screen. Doesn't give as good information as the Webster did. One good thing is that the letters are bigger but they are blue and hard to read.

I got one of these for each of my grandchildren; they both said they use them frequently. I also got one for myself. It is so much easier to just type a word instead of getting a dictionary out and looking it up. I use it fairly frequently!

a bit larger for my purposes would be nice. I tryed looking up a few words with "no " answer. Also, the dictionary, when it does have the word, is a bit terse on definations.
