This is an amazing tool especially for someone having trouble putting force to cut branches, like me who has a condition and cannot put too much force while cutting thicker branches. Only thing is that it is a bit inconvenient to press 2 switches to activate, which may be a safety feature. Also, it does not work on thicker or denser branches, a bit more power would have been really great. I'd definitely buy this product again for the right reasons.

This is a superb product I bought the same tool last year and it works brilliantly and compared to other much pricier ones seems to be very good value. However, after a year the previous one just stopped working and I wasn't able to get it fixed. I think I probably forced it to cut branches that were too thick for it so my advice is that if it doesn't cut it easily - don't force it as it possibly ruins the motor. Apart from that it saves my elbow which was suffering from repetitive strain syndrome from all the cutting I was doing and I love it and wouldn't want to be withou it in the garden.

A great product that, as I have problems with using manual secateurs, due to macrocytosis, makes pruning a breeze. The only problem I had was the fact that the electric sheers charging transformer is only for 100v AC, not 240 v AC. I could have obtained a suitable plug pack charger, but as I have numerous transformers available for my electronics hobby, I was able to build one.

Having damaged my right hand I needed powered secateurs that I could use with my left hand. This has been the answer for me. The unit is solid and sits nicely in my hand and cuts the smaller branches that I expect to cut without a problem. It is not intended to be used as a big tree branch cutter - it is a secateur and it performs well.

There is a downside though, the charger only works with a 100v power supply as it is designed for the Japanese market, so be warned you need a step-down power transformer, also try finding someone to make a repair, I suggest you simply replace it if it breaks down, my first one I dropped it and it wouldn't charge, I spent more trying to fix it than it cost for a replacement.
