The side surface is between 63 and 125 micro-inch finish. A small .030-inch tip on the side is probably the end of the circular cut but can be easily removed with a belt sander.

It was only after getting eBay involved that they respond. Shipment took over a month to arrive USPS Priority Mail. Seller shipped item in two packages but only provided tracking number for one.
