I was impressed with the 1:87.1 scale models from Woodland Scenics, so I had no problem buying a few even though the pics looked a bit wonkie from a online hobby store. Honestly I've bought resin models in pieces that look better.. These things remind me of those nic-nak toys that would be available for a few bucks at any rando dollar store. For something that, lets face it is probably 90x markup; is so chincy I truely felt swindled. These things aren't really worth more than a few bucks. The painted "accents" are sloppy, the wheels were lopsided.. We get super crisp, super small painted accents and printing on just about any freight car made the past few years, i.e. Micro-Trains Freight Cars/Atlas etc in the same price range as this.. and this is the best they can deliver at a premium price tag??? I can't seem to find the reasoning on pricing beyond "We'll sell to that Model Railroad crowd for 100x more". Look at the Athearn/Trainworx N scale Truck lines...Fantatstic stuff... these things are just overpriced, riprap..Read full review
