I have several multi-tools, most of them from Leatherman, and the Rebar is maybe the best. It has all the tools I need and none I don't. Very well built with great pliers, replaceable wire cutters, a real phillips screwdriver, a file, saw, plain edge and serrated knife (not a combo blade, which I hate). If I had one gripe, it's that the knife blade feels a little flimsy; I'm afraid I might snap it. My Skeletool CX has a much beefier knife -I like that - but the pliers are lighter, it has flattened screwdriver bits (which I don't love - and it has a lot less functionality. The Skeletool is lighter but I don;t notice much difference between them.

This Leatherman purchase replaces my lost Leatherman, one I owned for more than 30 years. It’s impossible to list the many, many times this multi-tool has saved the day; camping, hunting, picnicing as well as ordinary day to day needs that pop up unexpectedly. This tool gets better with use. It took me a few years and plenty of TLC to break my Leatherman in so it snapped open with a mere wrist flick...so, although I miss my lost Leatherman I’m grateful to have its great-great grandson.

This is my first Leatherman product. I chose the Rebar as it had the features I was wanting in a multi-tool. I am pleased with the size and weight of the Rebar, it feels solid and the knife blades came very sharp. I am happy with the leather sheath, it holds the Rebar securely. I would recommend the rebar as a quality, everyday carry multi-tool.

Great tool for use at home or on the job everyday. I broke one of the screwdriver attachments on the first day only because of improper use (prying)! Replacable attachments and cutting edges plus the stainless construction are the main reasons I purchased this item. The leather pouch was a definite bonus on this as it holds the tool securely on my belt for quick access.

After using and abusing my PST II for years, I started looking for a replacement for it. I wanted something that wasn't notably heavier, & had roughly the same tools, & a sheath. After poking around & finding many heavier, and lighter MTs that were either too much tool/weight for EDC, or too few tools for my purposes, the rebar seemed closest to that, only being a tetch heavier in exchange for locking tools. I had high hopes that this'd do it, & it is. The locking mechanism is worth the extra half ounce or so, & overall this is a real upgrade, & IMHO a worthy heir to the PST.
