BRITA Flow Water Filter Tank 8.2L Fridge Dispenser
Absolutely superb device - holds a fantastic amount of water and actually does what it says on the tin - that it makes water so clean tasting and soft. Just exactly like bottled water. A little tip though - I've used many different Brita products over the years and this is my favourite due to it's capacity potential. But I've always found it helps to run the cold water tap for at least 2 or 3 minutes - as it's always best to draw the freshest cleanest water that you possibly can - and in my opinion it makes these devices even more effective. I write this reluctantly. I am sensitive to Chlorine, and dislike the taste of it. Having run 6 blatches through, (twice as many as suggested by Manufacturer) the reduction in chlorine, both taste and smell, could not be discerned. There was also a "metallic" taste to the water from the Brita, which did not appear prominent in the tap water as drawn. I then cleaned the unit, and repeated twice, replacing the cartridge filter each time, both times rinsing filter and discarding initial batches. There was again no discernible improvement. I then tried running a batch of store bought bottled water, (Glaceau Smart water) through the Britta unit. This again came out with a metallic taste which was not apparent in the water added to the reservoir. I gave this water both as the untouched Smart ... I write this reluctantly. Sad, because it is compact appealing and nicely engineered, just doesn't begin to do what it says.

Great Replacement
This water filter tank was bought to replace an earlier version which has function well for many years. I am sure the new one will perform just as well. Good value too. Arrived promptly and well packed.

Lightweight and easy to use
Great water filter. Compact and easy to use. Sturdy. Easily storable, change filter and clean when need to. Water does taste noticeably better than tap water. Good investment. I guess only downside is that the filters can be perceived as a little bit expensive unless you can get them on offer.

The Bees Knees
I wanted a water filter that I could keep in the fridge so I would have cold water on tap and big enough to fill my kettle with as needed. Well this one is the Bees Knees! it is fantastic doesn't take up too much room in my fridge and big enough that I don't need to keep filling it up after every use. Since I starting using this filtered water my kettle has not had any scale marks at all and it is like new. I have been using this water filter now for 2 weeks and I love it. It has an easy fill slider on the top so you do not need to lift it out of the fridge to fill it just use a jug. I would highly recommend this water filter I wanted a water filter that I could keep in the fridge so I would have cold water on tap and big enough to fill my kettle with as needed.
