    All Tamiya models are extraordinary, this one is no exception!

    The detail and craftsmanship is among the best you will find in this sort of model. Very little flashing, i.e., extra plastic, that has to be trimmed, and parts fit perfectly. The larger scale 1/32 increases the complexity to a large degree, so not a ‘beginners’ model, but an extremely satisfying project for more experienced model builders. Also, requires extensive painting to do justice to this fine reproduction of the aircraft!

    Penultimate Spitfire kit

    Tamiya has outdone themselves with the issue of the Mk.IXc Spitfire. Beautiful molding, terrific detail. Be forewarned; it's a very complicated kit that will take some time to complete properly.

    lots of parts

    The Tamiya 1/32 spitfire has exquisite detail and fitment. shame they didn't have 1 more thing added to the kit and that is fold up wheels. (the 1/32 zero has it and its cheaper).
