    The best of the breed.

    Reliable fast and with excellent data stabilty this drive is above its WD or Seagate peers. Great design and hi-performance- 600Mb/S can be acheived on a decent motherboard in bursts. For those who 'don't trust' NVME reliability- parity failures- overheating (except the hi-end ones with heatsinks and fans) or longevity these drives are a must or data and game storage. To be honest a NVME performance only in burst mode is aster but on hot days- can be the same. A great update for newer systems that lack decent NVME or you just want a reliable data storage drive this is the one. This should have a 3 year warranty and all of my drives have well outlasted this.

    Super SSD drives

    I purchased three previous other Crucial SSD's which have performed faultlessly but I admit I have not yet installed the one to which this report refers. It for my wife's Dell computer and they are a bit stingy in the required leads area, I am not sure what lead splitters etc. I shall require but I am confident it will perform perfectly. ( on the penalty of death should it not due to my efforts.)

    crucial BX500 1000GB 2.5 SSD

    I only mounted the SSD yesterday. and till now seems to be working fine. Hope it stays like that, hence the reason I did not wipe my old drive. Luckily I found instructions how to mount the SSD on YouTube, and it work fine following the instructions. The pamphlet in the box does not tell you much. Start up is down by half to 23 seconds from 41 seconds. since I am using this SSD. I never had SSD drives so I do not know how reliable they are.
