    I have an old Fender Bassman. I got a pair of Svetlana 6L6gGC's long ago, but recently bought a pair of NOS 6P6C's, and could really hear the difference - a warmer, deeper sound. So I got 4 of these NOS 6P6S for backup just because they were such a bargain compared to US NOS tubes, and they sound great too. Try 'em, you'll like 'em. Now I want to build a tube amp to take advantage of the NOS Russian preamp tubes, instead of 12AX7's, which are so pricey now.
