My second can. First can to recoat resurfaced headlights 600 grit then 800 1000...2000 grit. Amazing result. Enough in a can to do about 5 pairs of lights at a guess. Also touched up some patches of clear coat on a metallic paint and sealed some circuit boards against moisture. On one set of headlights I put it on to many coats in and it crazed/orange peeled. When it looks covered/good/glossy stop. less is more. Takes weeks to go fingernail indent resistant hard when thickly applied!

Using 2K HS Clear Overcoat
I have used a few different clear coat offerings on small spray paint tasks - motorcycle parts mostly - in recent times. I found the 2K HS Clear coat a little different at first as the temperature of the day should probably be over 25 degrees for predictable curing times. Depending on the temperature the clear coat cured quite slowly (several hours around 25 degrees) to quite fast 20 minutes to half an hour (up over 30 degrees). Once I understood what it was capable of, I really liked using it. I have a few other projects in mind that I will use the clear coat on. One feature that immediately distinguished the 2K HS clear from other clear coats, was how glossy it was with a single slow coat. Other offerings do not behave this way (that I have found so far after using about 4 different ... Waste of time
So after reading the reviews i was sold on this product as need to fix up a few areas on a ute i was selling Spent hours prepping and painting. Sprayed the clear and yes when on smooth amd super clear. Gave each layer time to cure as stated on the tin and was great...... for a day. Next day it was hazy and soft. So i let sit for a week to fully cure. Nope didnt harden at all. Even after a week the softest touch left a finger print in the clear Whole job needs to be done again.
