Works exactly as it should
Bought this to replace the original remote on which some buttons had stopped working, and it was worn and grubby. The new one is in a matte finish rather than glossy - both are schmick, but given a choice, I’d probably go glossy - but otherwise exactly the same. Oh, the mute button has been moved to a more accessible position (top-right; a blessing!) and a new HDMI button added in its old spot. As soon as I added batteries, the remote worked with my TV perfectly straight away. Probably the worst purchase I have ever made online.
The remote was cracked open down one side and would not press back together the little plastic lugs that hold it together had broken or were faulty. And when I put the batteries in which were brand new and in the correct way the remote would not work at all. I don't see how this could happen if it was tested before being shipped

Great remote
The TV was not responding well to the original remote, you needed to get close to the TV and press the buttons a number of times, new batteries did not help. But this new remote works fantastic and fixed the annoying problem. It looks great with the Matt finish.

Overall it does what it's suppose to do
It is a replacement of the one I had before. Glad I got this one as it has 12 months warranty on it. Still brand new will review it again in 12 months for now ... all good though.
