    If you're gonna use metallic pencils....

    Use these👍🏼. They're a lot nicer than the popular brand metallic colored pencils. They're made better, eco friendly, and color a bit smoother. These are great on dark paper..... The ONLY thing a bit strange is that they didn't name the color on the pencil, or the box. I colored a small patch of each one and set the pencil next to it, then used a permanent marker to write my own name for the color on the end of each one- it was kinda fun actually. Well, that's all I got to say about that 🤓

    Faber Castell metallic pencils

    If you are on a budget or doing a project you don’t intend to keep these pencils will suffice. The colors are muted. You have to press hard or add layers to get some boldness and vibrancy. It’s the sharpening that is disappointing, the wood casing is soft. Hence, they break in a rugged shape after sharpening and the pencil’s shape comes out uneven. All in all it’s good. The quality is not equal to those in the higher price bracket. As always, you get what you pay for.

    Faber-Castell the best in the colored pencil industry

    These metalic colored pencils leave a nice sheen on the paper that can really make the colors pop. The thing to be aware of is this: If you use them on white background paper, you won't see a real difference. They are meant for black background paper where they shine out. I have used them in the so-called " midnight " series adult coloring books which have designs done in white on black background & they perform pretty nicely. Another good use for them is when you have a black & white design that is very intricate with close together tiny detail. They can make a nice bold statement on these too. Other colored pencil companies make the metallic pencils, but Faber-Castell has the nicest color application and a better over-all look on paper.

    Definitely recommend these!!

    I love these pencils! The lines always look so smooth. They don't streak like some colored pencils do. I also really like the metallic shine. Would definitely recommend these for anyone who likes to color, or draw.
