The control works well, just point it in the general direction of the controller, as it seems more IR (Infra Red) than RF (Radio Frequency). About 10 flashing modes, the remote has buttons to reduce to 75, 50, and 25% brightness. Connections to the strips seem a little flimsy, inter panel connectors seem secure though. Just need a 12v input, and you are good to go. There is a splitter so you can have 2x 2 strips going in different directions.
