This was the exact item that needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the tiny wall bracket for hanging this device does not hold it securely, and this one fell off and is damaged, so I have to order another one. (Note: The holders for the remote control for my ceiling fan and for a portable air conditioner enclose their respective remotes, which this one does not, so I am improvising a better one.)
