Coulda been so much more!
I was hoping that this book would have been much more in depth into the history of the Falcon. It started off alluding to you getting the story from the "birth" of the YT-1300, but nor really much more. A few stories about the people who once owned/flew her, but mostly just fluff. The whole climax was very anti-climatic in my opinion. Too quick, too many other characters to try to develop, and a loss of focus. This was to be about the Falcon, and it kind of lost its way. As with all Star Wars novels, an entertaining read, but left me kind of empty. Didn't really lead into any other enticing story lines to look forward to, but in the end, it is (marginally) about the Falcon.I was hoping that this book would have been much more in depth into the history of the Falcon. Not the best star wars book. Not Bad but it felt like they were reaching with this book. It was ok for star wars fans but not great

An Ok Book, more of a placeholder between series!
Star Wars: Mellennium Falcon is a hardcover book written by James Luceno and was released in late 2008. This book takes place two years after the events that ended the Legacy of the Force series. I had high hopes for this book. I thought I would be able to get some interesting background into the Mellennium Falcon and learn how the galaxy has changed since the fall of Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo). I was left feeling Meh. The history of the Falcon is told from the past and present views. Han Solo is backtracking the Falcon's owners from Lando backwards, while a new character Jardak (who was kept alive in a medical centre for over 60 years) is tracing it forwards from when he owned it last. There is a bit of a mystery in the ownership of the Falcon and a treasure hunt also. But the ...
