I use this for gas meter reading. It is by far the best inspection mirror that I have had(6+). It's durable and sturdy for heavy duty use. The mirror is magnified providing great visibility. It is a bit long when unextended and doesn't fit in my pockets very well, but it is comfortable and doesn't create any issue. A+++++++++++++
