  • Recollecting pieces of this collection

I have not seen it yet. I had almost the entire collection when it first came out but after many moves I gave them away. Now I just want certain volumes back. I’ll be home in 2 months to enjoy them. Thank you

  • Family connection to Gettysburg battle

Ok used book, nothing to get excited about. I am interested in Gettysburg because my family owned land that was part of the battlefield. They were ordered off their land about a week before. They left before dawn the day of the battle and could hear the cannons start as they were headed west to Ohio. My family also was part of the underground railroad to help slaves escape. The then father of the family was an Adventist minister who worked with other church denominations in this endeavor in Gettysburg.

  • Sorry I missed these books!

This is a great book. I'm sorry I missed the series when it first came out. I was living in Europe at the time. I will probably pick up other books in this series as they become available. So far, the facts are correct. It drives me nuts when someone publishes a book, especially about Robert E. Lee that gets facts wrong, misidentifies photos, or mixes up dates. This book is historically correct and full of great photos and drawings. A treasure.
