These 3 sequels to Hitchcock's "Psycho"(1960) are very good! Sir Alfred himself would have praised Anthony Perkins for taking the character of Norman Bates in different directions. Perkins shows that Norman wants to live like most "normal" people, but the psychotic part of him won't allow it. "The past is never really past" Bates tells the reporter in Psycho3. I liked the premise of "Psycho4-the Beginning," but much of the acting was not at the level of the previous 3 films. I wanted to add this DVD to my Hitchcock collection because of my respect for Perkins as an actor. His work as director of Psycho3 shows the Hitchcock influence.
Me and my mom love watching these movies , Mayb one day we can make our own day lol

Norman has finally come home after twenty years in the mental institution. Anthony Perkins directs where Alfred Hitchcock left off, and though he can't hold a candle to the master, he does very well trying to keep the story line going. I always wanted more after seeing the original, and now I can with a continuation of films that tells us all why Norman is the way he is. I highly recomend these films. If you loved the first blockbuster you won't be disapointed!
