I am a Neil Young fan, so it was easy for me to enjoy this entire album. In my opinion, it's one of his better more recent releases. It's classic Neil and spews harsh criticism for war in a heartfelt way. In other words, Neil and company make it plain to see that they have no grasp on the concept that "war is necessary." Despite the fact that it was put together rather quickly, most of the words are very thoughtful and meant to voice a need for peace, love and HARMONY, which the songs lack. haha! Just kidding. It's a good album. I can't say you'd like it if you don't agree with ANTI-WAR sentiment or atleast have a sense of humor. It is classic Neil Young... with the whole off-key, grungy, garage band sound.. so don't get your hopes up thinking he cleaned up his tunes.
Though old, it is current with what is going on in Washington. Neil protested Busch, but you change the name and it could be a protest to what Trump is doing in the White House. We need a New President says it all Classic and great CD. Happy I was able to find it. Thank you, Neil Young. Ray

As always Neil delivers! His use of music to imply his message is incredible! Listen to the trumpet on shock and awe, reminding you of taps! The heavy drum beats threw out the recordingand his explosive guitar! The way he uses GW's own words against him. Living with War is writen like a true patriot who cant trust the government any more! But Neil we can alllearn a lot and still trust you! Beefy
I usually don't like albums that name politicians by name (Obama, Bush, Powell, etc) but Living With War is the exception to the rule. This is an amazing collection of songs that really hits home as we head into this extremely important election. With Hillary and Obama saying that they would not pull the troops out of Iraq during their first term I feel that I should also mention the name of a politician...can anybody say GO RON PAUL? Living With War gets 5 Huge Stars from me!!!
