    A Sophisticated Movie Of Love, Hate, And Jealousy With A Dash Of International Intrigue

    Here's a top-notch film noir movie starring Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford. It's got all the elements of a love, hate and betrayal melodrama. It is well played and directed by some of the best talent in Hollywood, at that time. Ford gets taken in by a wealthy casino operator. Then that operator marries the love of Ford's life. There's extreme jealousy that tears them apart mixed with some illegal, international intrigue concerning a tungsten consortium. It's a complicated story that plays itself out with style. "Gilda" is rated highly by all, film noir critics and earns 5 stars for excellence. It's a must see movie for all, serious film fans.

    The movies from the 40’s era were state of the art talent with great actors and down to earth written characters as performed by Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford in “Gilda” No explosions, destruction or violence just simple and interesting situations of character. I have always enjoyed the Black and White films of yesterday as magical warmth in viewing the lost art of actors and interesting plots ! Highly recommended film for those who enjoy this lost treasure👍🤗

    Sizzling, sultry and sexy!!!

    Rita Hayworth exuded sexuality and danger as Gilda, the woman that every man lusted for and couldn't resist her intoxicating charms. The film's premise was centered around a love triangle. Gilda had a score to settle and coincidentally would up meet the ex-boyfriend who jilted her - who was now employed by her wealthy, older husband.The plot was convoluted and hard to follow and I didn't care for the feel-good ending. This was a film noir flick so I hoped it would remain dark until the end. But Hayworth doing those Latin dance numbers was worth the price of admission. Her iconic, legendary performance of "Put the Blame on Mame" was almost overkill. It comes towards the end of the movie and by that time we had seen her slinking, winking,and blinking her long lashes at every man within five ...
