Classic + Classic = Great Entertainment
Two favorite films from Wayne packaged together. Both are classics and both couldn't be more opposite from one another (aside from being based in the Pacific). First you have "In Harm's Way" the classic WWII film showing the beginning of our campaign in the Pacific following Pearl Harbor. After watching that, lighten things up by watching "Donovan's Reef" a little gem that is often overlooked containing plenty of laughs (John Wayne and Lee Marvin work absolutely perfect together). Both films have an excellent supporting cast, well worth adding this two disc set to your collection.Two favorite films from Wayne packaged together. A pair of classic films from the nineteen sixties. Both film have a plot where family politics are central to the tension in the character's lives. Both stories take place in the Pacific and are a great studies of sixties morals. These definitely rate four snaps up!

No one like the Duke.
You know when you watch the Duke you will be getting enjoyment out of his movie. Both movies are top notch. Have already watched them both and enjoyed them both immensely. Will continue to surf ebay looking for good classic westerns and other genres of the Duke.

I actually give this a 5 as "In Harm's way" is an exception film,. Yes, it has the duke as the power and the glory. The usual romance is there. However, this is well acted by an excellent cast, the script is excellent and is a great Naval film. I also like that they kept it in B/w. The Reef is silly but full. It does to jump around abit and is not one of his best however it is an enjoyable film
