      Great product but bad batteries

      I bought this as a replacement for the remote my dog chewed up. I had to swap out the receiver box to be compatible with the remote, so I'm glad I bought the kit. It works great. It arrived quickly, the new receiver box has a better design than the old one, and it was an easy enough set-up. The only problem was that none of the batteries worked, so I did waste a few hours trouble shooting as the batteries were the last thing I thought of .

      Great product .. Make sure to set your PINS!!!

      It is GREAT and I wish I would have gotten this a long time ago! My only recommendation for anyone who gets this thermostat would be to check the PINS to make sure they are set the same. In reading the directions, I thought they had been pre-set but after trying the fireplace and it didn't work, I found that the PINS in the remote and transmitter were set differently. It works perfectly and happy with the product!! 5 STARS!!

      Awesome Product.Very Easy DIY install - 5 Minutes Total!

      Great product, great addition to any fireplace. Swapped out my wall switch to this in 5 minutes and now it's fully remote!. Great upgrade. Easy set up and easy use. Would highly recommend this product!

      Good all around remote for fireplaces

      This remote definitely fit the bill for our purposes. Connecting it was easy. Set-up was pretty straight forward. Eliminated what would have been an itchy-scratchy trip through the fiberglass in the attic. Durability? We’ll see, won’t we? Its in it’s holder on the wall, so hopefully it will stay there.
