About this product

Product Information

Written, produced and directed by Elia Kazan, based on his own autobiographical novel. Eddie Anderson (Douglas), a successful, married advertising executive becomes obsessed with a younger woman and carries on a torrid love affair with her. After a near-fatal car "accident," Eddie promises his faithful wife to change his ways and seek some professional help but finds it impossible to do so. Hearing from his brother that their father is ill, Eddie travels to Long Island to visit him with his young flame in tow. Unbeknownst to Eddie, his wife also follows him East.

Very responsive when questions were asked. I got a pack for vinyls for such a good price (near original retail). Everything was in prestige condition. I would buy from this seller again. Also the shipping was very quick!

This VHS was delivered within 1.5 weeks of being ordered from Chicago, Illinois to rural western Canada; I am very happy with the timing of the shipping. It is a rare, used old tape that arrived tightly packed in a white cardboard shipping box, wrapped in a grey ebay shipping envelope. I'm grateful the tape couldn't slide during shipping. It's 100% as described; I am satisfied with the seller. I fully recommend, and will purchase from, "jesse-benson-online-sales" again if the opportunity arises!

  • A waste of Kirk Douglas' talent on this monstrosity.

NOt good. I was disappointed with this film. Ordanarily, the combination of Kazan and Kirk Douglas works. Not this time, I' afraid. The movie makes no sense and doesn't work on any level.
