    Good replacement better than new.

    The steering shaft came as a kit with all of the parts needed to install it. The hardest part was removing the old parts. After installation, the mower steered better than new. The factory steering wheel adapter and lower support were plastic and had worn out. The new adapter was metal and the lower support has a steel bushing, not plastic. This is a great product.

    Do not waste your time

    Replaced this and the sector gear and didn't even get it out of the garage and the steering shaft started slipping on the sector gear, I order a whole new set but the actual OEM one piece shaft this time, the whole steering system has been rebuilt except these two components.

    Fixed for now

    I never repaired a steering shaft in my life but the kit installed just fine. Took my time and had the proper tools equals success. So far, no problems. The only thing I noted was the steering shaft had a smaller diameter and the kit provided the necessary bushings. My thought is long term useage and durability. The original shaft lasted 10 years and cuts 5 acres at a time.

    Steering conversion kit

    This conversion kit was spot on for my 2006 Sears Craftsman 4500 series lawn and garden tractor. I followed the instructions w/o any issue and it works perfectly. It took longer to remove the mower deck than it did to replace the steering shaft and bushings. It is my understanding that this model machine was manufactured by Huskavarna

    Take old over spray off

    I used this product today. It worked great. I had some white latex over spray on my truck, that had been there for 3 years. It got most of it off, not all. I was still impressed.
