My young Husky was a quick eater & I knew I needed so get something to slow her down so she wouldn't have issues. I have been pricing them online & they were up there pretty steep. I was watching this one & to my surprise I saw this one & grabbed it. Works perfectly to slow down her eating & I love the purple color myself. I especially love that she can't push it all over the floor because of the non skid backing on the bottom. She Loves this product & I love it for her. No chance of bloat with her eating & I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a dog who eats extremely slow. It mimics the way dogs of old used to forage for food in the wild so it comes more naturally for them! Thank you! We have a constant problem with two of our dogs almost literally inhaling their food every time they eat , causing them to choke or get sick from eating so fast. Both dogs are also large dogs (a Pitbull and a German Shepherd) and they tend to get rough and rowdy when they get excited. Now, both dogs have slowed down dramatically with their eating thanks to these bowls, we don’t have to make them slow down or add water to their food, and the quality of the product is so good, I’m not worried one bit about them accidentally breaking it! We’re definitely going to be ordering another and recommending to friends and family! Dog no longer get sick from eating too fast!
So our chocolate lab was scarfing down her food so fast, she was making herself sick. Once she started with this bowl, she still eats too fast but it has slowed her way down and the best part is that she no longer get sick! We recently purchased two other Outward Hound bowls for our other two dogs. The dogs seem to like them..kind of like a puzzle bowl.

Bowl slows my dog down for better digestion and no throw ups
This bowl slows my dog from gulping her food down and thus, me cleaning up throw up later. I love this bowl for that part alone! I know it has to be better for her digestion as well. The flower pattern is the best one, in my humble opinion. We have had two bowls like it with my other two dogs and the one design does not do as well as the flower.
