stain is not uniform
The switch is kinda hard to get used to. The switch turns off the whole lamp , if you want to have the main lights on, you have to have the base light on. I plan to add a switch on the base to control the base light and the main lights will be work seperately. I had to restain portions of the base and top because some of the wood did not have any stain or little stain. Not very happy about this. Also, the instructions showed 2 washers and did not show the orientation of the 2 rubber washers. There was only one steel washer and 2 rubber ones.
