  • A high performing, low budget preamp/active DI.

Good sound. The foot switch is a little flimsy but I have it always on anyway. The analog simulation gives your tone a crisp, sweet character and the presence knob boosts your high end to perfection without getting shrill. I don't use the drive knob but it sounds okay to me. All in all, it's an excellent value unit for not a lot of dollars.

  • Big Bang for the buck

For the price, you get a lot of bells and whistles.

  • Bought it for $20 and would have paid a $100 for it..! Well done Behringer.

Bought as new stock, pedal had been encased in plastic since 2006. Pedal`s power supply is 12v DC but ran on a Boss 12v AC as well, Interface is simple, EQ is effective and useful, especially if you are looping it into the amp head. The Bass V-Tone worked well with a lead guitar, there was no noticeable drop in audio quality with EQ set at neutral, eventually ended up with the 9.00 o`clock positions. Pedal operation was quiet, was only noticeable when exceeding reasonable drive and level settings. Switched to 4 string bass and 25w Peavy practice amp, where the pedal completely changed the amp`s sound for the better, considerably reduced the thin woody and middly sounds to where it sounded like a bigger cabinet model. I bought it for $20 and would have paid a $100 for it..! Well done ...
