The apple Magic Mouse was sent in a plain paper postage envelope, unpadded nor bubble wrapped itself. The envelope split with the mouse exposed.
In short a very poor attitude towards customers.

As described it dose have some dirt, but this is used and expected.
I have also plugged and the macbook booted without issue, please note that my battery is long dead.
