About this product

Product Information

The Dunlop MXR Stereo Chorus M134 guitar effect pedal comes in a yellow enclosure that is as vibrant as the tones you can get from it. It features a chorus-specific EQ section, three effect settings controls, and a low-frequency filter for shimmering sounds. This powerful chorus box is great for stereo modulation effects. This is a standard stompbox in the gear of artists like Slash and Placebo. It comes as no surprise that the manufacturer has reissued this classic pedal for tone-conscious players worldwide. This guitar effects box features dual outputs for mono or true stereo chorus. This feature makes the pedal capable of an unparalleled, breathtaking chorus. This unit is great whether you play bass, acoustic, or electric guitars and complex solos or face-melting power chords. The creativity boost from the magical sound of a pro-level chorus effects pedal is sure to take your strings to the next level. The equalizer on the MXR M-134 is unique thanks to a feature that players with complex rigs will appreciate. The Bass and Treble knobs affect only the wet signal, letting the dry signal of your guitars be heard with no modifications. The clear signal in its design is further backed by the buffered bypass mode. When the pedal is switched off, no noise or tone changes will enter your guitar’s signal flow. The EQ is fine-tuned to frequencies affecting only the unit’s audio modulation, making the personality of the MXR emerge and bloom through your amp. The Bass Filter button limits the chorus effect at low frequencies, blessing your amps with a brighter and clearer sound. The astonishing range of sounds this analog pedal is capable of relies on a powerful control section featuring effect-specific dials. With the Intensity control, you can slightly enhance your signal for clean, shiny sounds or direct it toward much wider sonic landscapes. From a warm, intimate tone to dark, intimidating passages, the Width knob selects the frequency range of the chorus effect. This gets the mood you want just right. At the far right of the unit, the Rate control lets you adjust the speed of the effect. The result can be a spacey atmosphere or a vibrato-like warble. The sheer amount of possible combinations the MXR M-134 is capable of makes it appropriate for harsh power chord sections or soft fingerpicking of strings. With every note sounding clear, the sky is the limit. The MXR M134 Stereo Chorus fits comfortably in most gear setups and works great in conjunction with quality guitars, amps, pedals, and other accessories. It also melds very well with other effects pedals like reverb and flanger. With a resistant metal construction, the stompbox has been designed to resist thousands of onstage stomps and many years on the road. Heavy-duty input, output, and power jacks complete the picture, displaying a robust construction. These pedals are powered via two 9V batteries or the equivalent power accessories, such as an optional 18V power adaptor.

the item was as described and packaged well. My issue is that it took 2 weeks + 1 day from the time I placed the order to the day I received it. I received confirmation that the order had been placed on Mar.8th, no communication until the 19th then 2 more emails extending the original shipping estimate. I expect better!

Really sweet little pedal. Great vintage sounds are easy to dial up quickly. Add treble and bass and you get that extra added element to tailor your sound where you want it to be. Sounds great in mono, sounds awesome in stereo.

  • For musicians, who loves true sound and music.

New musical band - new sound. From garage grunge to old classic russian rock, so, I need universal chorus for most situations. And, I DONT like chorus sounding ) Our first guitarist using chorus almost all time when playing, with or without distortion. I need second chorus only if it will be with wide range of settings. After few days of watching video reviews, reading opinions... ok, this model not overpricing, not have strange additional functions like unwanted for me flanger or delay. Just chorus - stereo, cool bass cutting function, wide range of settings. As usualy, I selected in eBay filter - low price (including shipping), and bought it! So, one show with my new M134 was in Moscow, last friday. Awesome sounding. Adding a little amount of wet sound give me just sweet acoustic ...

  • Meet the New King of Chorus Pedals

This is an absolutely amazing pedal. Unlike some of its contemporaries, the M134 is built rugged. The metal casing has a lot of heft, a reliable switch button, and strong knobs. The tonal dynamics are amazing, and provide a depth to your signal that bring out the best in any amplifier and guitar. For clean sounds, it is simple to dial in bright, shimmering tones for both rhythm and leads applications. The range of the effect is very wide, producing atmospheric clarity that provides a great tonal boost. On an overdriven setting, the Chorus effect adds a subtle, beautiful sustain. Bass and Treble of the Chorus effect can be adjusted directly on the pedal, allowing the user to widen the EQ sweep range, and the intensity, width and rate controls are sensitive enough to produce even small ...

  • If you are looking for a flexible, chorus this is it!

The MXR Stereo Chorus pedal does it all. Most people have some type of chorus built into their amp, or some kind of an inexpensive chorus pedal. And that may be just fine for them. Personally, I prefer to have a little more control over my tone / effects and this unit does the trick. The stereo output is a great touch also, for setups that involve multiple amps / stereo PA mixes.

  • Fantastic Chorus from MXR

Like many guitarists, I pay attention to what the professional reviewers say about guitar pedals when looking to upgrade my pedal board. Guitarist magazine listed this in their Top 101 Pedals listing, and it is clear why. The level of control you have with this pedal is truly awesome! That does not mean it's complicated. You have your expected controls in terms of intensity, width and rate. The great sounds you get out of these controls alone is well worth the price. But look to the left of the "normal" controls and here is where this pedal leaps above the others. You have both bass and treble controls allowing you to further shape your tone. Plus the "little white button" next to the bass control. With this button you can keep the bass frequencies from being chorused. The beauty here is ...
