    Okay for tech savvy people

    The playsmart is okay for someone who already knows tech stuff. It was a bit of a pain to set up, especially because the firmware does not update on its own. I reached out to polaroid customer support and they helped me update it manually, so that was great. The printing bed needs maintenance every 2 or 3 prints so that is also a pain, but not a deal breaker. If you are looking to use this as a starter printer, I do NOT recommend it. But if you can work your way around a computer and are confident with tinkering, this printer can work awesome. Perhaps it could be a good starter printer if you want to be able to solve printer problems because there are a lot with this one. That way the next one you get will have few curveballs to throw at you. I hope this helps.

    Very dissatisfied

    I honestly regret buying this thing mainly because the printing bed was not leveled properly when it was delivered and all my 3-D prints were immediately coming out messy and it was wasting my filament. I don’t know how to properly level the printing bed to where it prints my models correctly and there are no instructions on how to do it so I’m selling it on offer up so it can be someone else’s problem instead of mine since I can’t return it and get my money back. This was a terrible purchase and I strongly advise not buying this specific brand of 3-D printer.

    Cool printer

    I had to work around the on board leveling menu because it is difficult to use, but the printer works great we are printing our own toys and accessories.

    Great 3D printer for hobbyists

    This is a great 3D printer. It’s easy to setup, use and it doesn’t require any additional cost for software. For some this maybe considered a basic 3D printer, but if you are new to 3D printing and want a printer that is user-friendly and high quality this is a great choice.
