It was obvious from the moment I opened the package that the cane was a modern fake. I've collected antiques for over 35 years. I contacted the seller that the cane was a replica; seller came back "I've had it for over 10 years." Victorian period lasted from 1807-1931 - a minimum of over 100 years - NOT 10! Seller willfully represented a fake! Made no attempt to resolve the issue.
