      Excellent board for everyday use

      I've owned a lot of boards over the years, but it seems there was always a problem.....too small, odd size, etc. This teak board, however, ticks all the boxes. It's large enough to provide a good work surface, thick enough to give it some weight so it won't be sliding around the counter and the wood itself stands up to heavy use. This board may be a little more costly than other boards of the same size, but the few extra bucks are worth it for such a well made product. An added bonus is the teak wood itself. A "warm" color and interesting grain gives it "curb appeal." With just a little care, this board will last you a lot of years. I highly recommend it.

      proteak does not stand up to claims!

      I PURCHASED THIS 24X18 BOARD. AFTER TREATING IT I TRUSTED THAT I COULD CUT A HEAD OF ROMAINE LETTUCE ON IT WITHOUT SCARING IT. THE KNIFE LEFT CUT MARKS ALL OVER THE AREA THAT I CUT THE LETTUCE. THIS IS NOT MY EXPECTATION OR WHAT IS SHOWN ON IT'S ADDS. IT IS SUPPOSED TO RESIST KNIFE CUTS! IT DOES NOT! IT'S A BEAUTIFUL BOARD BUT DOES NOT FUNCTION AS SOLD!

      Proteak 107 Teak chopping Board

      I can honestly say this is the best chopping board I have ever used. Nothing seems to mark it Not even my knives and as long as you keep oiling it and waxing it this board should last you a lifetime. I didn't mind that I had to have this shipped to the UK as these size of boards are not sold here. It's that good I would recommend this board to anybody.
