About this product

Product Information

This 2002 US PlayStation release is based on the 1969 British feature film of the same title. The game's plot progression is driven by an attempt to steal a great amount of gold bullion from under the noses of the police and mafia during a traffic jam distraction. As in the movie, this third-person mission-based driving game challenges its heroes to weave through busy city streets, as well as down sewers and even over rooftops in efforts to confuse and elude authorities. The game features the movie's showpiece Mini-coopers as well as 13 other vehicles. The adventure takes place through London, Turin, and the Swiss Alps. Though also available in Europe, The Italian Job comes to North America by way of Rockstar Games, the publisher of the runaway hit 2001 PS2 mission-based driving game Grand Theft Auto III.

  • Dezionz Picks..#381-The Italian Job for ps1 , ps2

Great fun game. easy to unlock cars and complete game. fun to jump and ram the other cars..bad things about game are the long loading time between levels, early graphics and no rear view of cops on your tail. its no need for speed, or GTA, but for a early car game it has everything you need for hours of fun, and for a new gamer that has not played them other two they wont even miss anything that they have and this one dont., hope this helps you and ill say it again..its hours of fun.

I liked this game in past years, my friend had it for an old school PS1 and since I just got mine working, I figured I'd give it a shot.
