A must have
I watched a borrowed one and had to have my own. Last Christmas, I heard plenty of sermons about the wise men and "the star". Recommend "The Witness of the Stars" by Bullinger, also.

Science not Sentiment
This program is a very interesting digest of scientific evidence for the Star of Bethlehem. It is in lecture format with much of it being a video of the lecturer's screen or white board, which makes it smaller and harder to follow than if it had shown the actual computer images. People who are interested in scientific evidences for the truth in the Word of God will find it fascinating.

Subtle, Yet Powerful Look at God's Power and Love
We all hear about how God can "move Heaven and Earth," but this documentary demonstrates how the Creator can -- literally -- manipulate the motion of the Universe to mark the birth and death of the Lord Jesus. Making the story all the more compelling is the fact that the presenter, Rick Larson, is not an astronomer by trade, but an attorney capable of doing his own research into an unfamiliar topic. Producer McEveety does a fine job of building up the story, connecting it to the Biblical narrative, to the climax of Christ's life. The demonstration of God's power and love working beautifully together is stunning. This video is a very interesting perspective of the Star of Bethlehem. The researcher uses modern software to visualize the sky around the time of Jesus' birth and death to paint a vivid description of what probably may have occured at those times. He interweaves Old and New Testament verses with the locations of various celestial bodies to give credibility to his theories. The researcher presents the information in such a way that he wants you to look at what he found, think about it, and then come to your own conclusion. At the end, you are left thinking how interesting that was, how possible were the theories that were proposed, and awe of how God orchestrated all of this from before the beginning of the universe. Probably good for children over 10 years old or so only ... This video is a very interesting perspective of the Star of Bethlehem.
