MAY be adaptive but WITHOUT a functional motor
I gave this light 2 stars because visually, it exceeded my expectations. I can't rate for how quickly I got it because I paid for shipping. I paid extra for this rt. headlight because it stated it was adaptive and I wanted it to match my left headlight. I had it professionally installed and was told the light is not adaptive or it's motor is faulty. I didn't believe it and figured once it was dark, it would do as expected. Unfortunately, once I got away from city lights, I was in a panic as I could barely see the road. I put the brights on and had only slight improvement. I took it back to the mechanic who said they'd try to see if they could improve things. I waited and they again said no luck. I went to another mechanic who works on both American and European vehicles. He ... I gave this light 2 stars because visually, it exceeded my expectations.
