If you like 50's movies
I like this. I would have put a wager that I had seen every 50's movie every made. Clearly I have not. Most of these were old favorites some of them I've never seen and some I skipped over. All in all This is a favorite of mine. I bought a few more of these that are not so much. I bought the 70's one which I find okay and I watched all the movies but in truth I doubt I will ever choose to watch anything in that one again. This is good with a nice cup of tea after a long day and too tired to focus on a good bookI like this. I would have put a wager that I had seen every 50's movie every made. Clearly I have not. Greatest of classic movies.
Lots of good classic movies worth watching. Good addition to my collection. In my opinion, this 50 movie collection series “Family Classics“ is far better than the other 50 movie collections available from the same manufacturer.

Some rare films in here.
O.K. I did not care for this set as much some other sets from the same company. At the same time there are some unusual films in this set. If you happen to be a Shirley Temple fan there are some very short films in the set from her very early days that I would think are not easy to find. There is also a very early animated Gulliver Travels that is fun to watch whether you are 5 or 50. Some of the films included in this set are just a little too silly for my taste. Still, it was worth the cost and yes I would by it again. Oh; I almost forgot to tell you there are some silents included (charley chaplin) that are fun to watch if only once.O.K.
