Quality product with a great sound.
The slip on was packaged very well and came without a flaw. It came with clear instructions and all required hardware. When installing the pipe, it was a perfect fit! The clamps and brackets were all of high quality. Even the cosmetic transition from the stock head pipes to the slip on were a perfect fit. The sound is so much better than the stock muffler, much more bass and a crisp bark under acceleration, but not annoying, just enough to let other vehicles around you know you’re there. Very happy with this product!!

Installed on my 2013 V Star 1300 Deluxe which was very easy and took for a spin. The pipe is way too loud and my neighbors would agree. Once at cruise speeds it does mellow out. The biggest problem I have is the loud backfiring. I have the cobra Fi200r installed as well and nothing I do cuts down on the backfiring. All fittings are tight and no air leaks....the pipes are just louder than I want them to be. My neighbors don't care for me starting my bike a 5am to head to work. Also I am not able to hear the traffic around me and to me that's a problem.

Great performance, great sound!!
This was exactly what I was looking for! The stock pipes are great looking but are too quiet. The Cobra 4" Slip-on gives you that characteristic muscular sound that V-Twins are noted for with improved performance that you can feel! If you want quiet, you can always "slip-on" your old stock pipe again.

Perfect fit. Ez install. Put this on my 14 Vstar 1300. Wasn't to sure of how it would sound on a metric over head cam V twin. Sounds great. A little on the loud side but not bad.

I like the look, and the lighter weight ...
I like the look, and the lighter weight of the exaust. As far as the sound OMG! it sounds amazing but it is so much louder than I expected but im sure there are some things I can do to adjust the sound to my perfectionist desire. Over all im very happy with this product.

Great exhaust.
I have this exhaust on two V Star 1300's. Opens the bike up with better air flow giving better acceleration and a much throatier sound than the factory muffler. Adding this and a K&N filter added substantial power when riding in the mountains.
