The trackball arrived a few days after ordering, as expected. It looks great, and I immediately tested it and found it completely works, as described. It was very delicately packaged, which I appreciate with these particular trackballs.

  • Greatest thing since sliced mice!

This particular Trackball is easier to use and more accurate than any mouse, or other Trackball that I have seen. The operation is completely different than any other, all you fingers seem to do the "wrong" things, and looks strange and uncomfortable. Give it 5 minutes, no... 3 minutes, it will feel so natural and obvious that web pages are simple to navigate, and graphics, or painting programs take very little time to master. I will say that this is the one and only invention of Microsoft that was designed correctly, and works flawlessly. So, they discontinued it. Must be a story there somewhere. they came out in 200?, it's easy to find out, I just can't remember, but it has a USB cord with an old style Mouse plug adapter. I bought one new at "Office Stuff" just from seeing it on ...

  • Had mine for almost 20 years, daily use, still working. Who needs touch input on a desktop ;)

Probably the best example of a well-designed consumer PC peripheral - erganonically as others point out these work out so much better than using a mouse and feels better than other trackballs, especially on multiple monitor setups for programming, data analysis / modelling. The buttons are in the right place - left right and scroll under thumb, index and middle for the ball, and 4th and 5th fingers on back and forward make for effortless browsing in documents as well as on web browsers. That mine is almost 20 years old and still going strong with almost daily use is a testamony to the build quality (probably a reason Microsoft stopped making them, people wouldn't buy replacement peripherals!). Used prices are so much higher than I paid for mine new, but understandable, I'd be lost without ...

  • A great computer mouse!

I've had this type of computer mouse from the introductory days of Windows XP, and I still love it. An awesome mouse with a great and comfortable design. I normally get about 6-7 years out of each one that I purchase, and usually buy another one to keep as an extra. Prices have soared on these since they've been discontinued many, many years ago, but I think it's worth the extra cost to own one. I also think that they should be put back into production again, but that's a different topic altogether...

  • Best trackball mouse ever made!

I’ve used this model mouse for many years. Never understood why they stopped making it. Have arthritis in my hand and this is very comfortable.
