Micro Engineering Flex Track
This flex track holds its shape once bent for curves; some others don't--just a matter of preference. Buyers should be aware that most all brands of track and turnouts use different tie thicknesses and rail profile, so if mixed, beware of height differences and difficulties in fitting rail joiners between them. Shinohara/Walthers code 70 and code 83 turnouts have thinner ties, so there is a 'bump' at the joints if used with this brand of flex track. You have to shim the turnouts underneath to get them to the same level. Unlike Micro Engineering turnouts which have a bad reputation for falling apare, their flex track is durable--and far cheaper than Shinohara equivalents.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
