The Thorn Birds
I love this story. It has really good actors playing the major roles. It shows how tough the Australian bush can be for farming and the isolated farms makes long distances to travel. The actual book written by Colleen McCullogh is excellent reading and a lot more detailed than the dvd. One can feel that he is part of the drama and one can feel the heartache and losses the family endures. Depicts the desires of the flesh that priests can endure. (They should be allowed to marry. ) I love this story. It has really good actors playing the major roles. An excellent copy of a timeless classic!
The Thorn Birds is an epic story filled with turmoil and tragedy. Set in Australia, the story captures the landscape and struggles faced by the Australian farmer which is reflected in the unpredictable and difficult lives the characters. The cast is well chosen and the quality amazing.
