I had looked into mesh WIFI systems some time ago and opted not too purchase because of the cost. I have several of TP Link's devices and trusted the brand so when I saw them offering a wide range of mesh products an affordable price point I gave it a try and have been very impressed! Do your research on which particular Deco system suits your needs TP Link have many Mesh products. After reading I found some only have 10/100mbps ethernet ports, some offer 1g/bit ethernet and others also include Powerline connectivity. The set I went for was a 3 pack of units and with dual gigabit sockets, which can either supply network access via wifi or use to drive the wifi connection. Set up was much easier than the old days of entering IP addresses and DNS settings, everything is done by a smartphone app. Which after setup the app continues to provide data on connected devices and usage. All very good so far, one device positioned down stairs and two upstairs at either end of the house and I am getting great coverage, even the garden seems to have full strength signal. Mine are the AC1200 models which is not the fastest TP Link offer but since max broadband at the moment is around 350mb with Virgin that's still plenty of head room. Speed test using WIFI was 207mb/s and wired 220mb/s (My Virgin package being 200mb/s). Very pleased and I would recommend them! Read full review

Has extended the range of our wifi to the bottom of the garden - and more importantly to my workshop. While it is a good distance there is line of sight so I don't actually need to use the third unit. I found the setting up difficult - the app was made by geeks for geeks and checked by geeks so as a normal person I was soon floundering. I made one wrong swipe (trying to find a different house layout) and was instantly lost in a tech labyrinth and had to resort to the website for help. Having got back on track I couldn't find out how to add the second unit - until the website showed me to click the little + icon. If the app was designed for normal people I would have awarded 5*

Well what can I say, this large house had long suffered with WiFi dead spots. A trio of these meshes, two at ground floor and one at first has solved all of that. They replaced two linked routers. Seamless transition is made as you pass from one mesh to the next. It is incredibly easy to set up, the only precaution I took was to set them up in close proximity to the main mesh and then site them in their final locations, but whether this was necessary I am unsure, I was following the advice of others. They look quite presentable too. Mine were incredible value for money as I purchased a used set, which was as good as new. Would I recommend this product, yes without hesitation

This was very easy to set up and has stopped wi-fi dropping out around the house. Live in a stone built cottage with very thick walls, router is in central room where I have my office set up. Was not getting a reliable connection in the garden or downstairs bathroom, but since setting this up no problems.

WiFi in my house has always been a problem, with neighbours close by with their interfering WiFi systems, even in the next room my signal wouldn't be able to be used. Since installing just two of these 'Whole home WiFi mesh' extenders, I have a superb signal now throughout my house. I highly recommend them. Fairly easy to set up, although the flashing lights during set up are a bit confusing, once set up they are fine. I haven't found one tiny thing to say against them.

Then don’t hesitate to buy these... set one up in router mode, rest work off that, unbelievable Jeff! The back of the house struggled with signal now I still get a signal in the back garden. Routers supplied by ISP’s are useless, do yourself a favour and don’t hesitate, buy.

Works a treat and easy to set up. Buy found it quite difficult to add an extra one as there was nothing on the help faq's. Managed it in the end and very pleased.

This was a great buy, it has improved my WiFi throughout my house no end. Would recommend to all however you will need a good modem else if you use your ISP’s router as a modem you may have issues still. Only downside was I bought via TopCashback but did not track for some reason so no cash back for me ☹️

Received quickly and have started to use, although some units are difficult to connect to mesh system, but this could be the Linksys router problem not the purchased items.
