SUper book-Don T is at the top of his game!!!
Highly recommended for the civil war art lover-like me!!! Don T. is arguably among the best contemporary CW artists today. His is both a great draftsman & colorist. Far ahead of many other CW artists I see today whoa re eager to sell their books, prints & paintings. I also like the accompanying commentaries by Don & actual photos of his CW collection many of the items he studied to use in his paintings. Get this book! You will not be disappointed!!!!! Was rather pricey new so REAL GREAT to get a good deal on it over the Internet, I say!!!! PEACE!!Highly recommended for the civil war art lover-like me!!! Don is one of the top 4-5 historical artist around. This book shows Don at his best. His insights to what is happening in the scene as well as his thoughts and motivation adds a lot of character to the book. One interesting thing about Don's paintings, is he will use a lot of the same models and if you look real close you can see the same person portrayed as a rebel cannoneer or a union soldier on the march. All in all an excellant book.Don is one of the top 4-5 historical artist around. This book shows Don at his best.
