Am obesess with Mac foundations anyway so any of their foundations with good price am getting lol.this foundation I needed since it’s a little too dark for me I bought it for that purpose because I mix it with my Mac pro longwear nourishing which is a shade lighter,beautiful combo not only my makeup end up being matte all day but it also last me even through even rainy days .my perfect summer combo......

The reason I bought the mac fix fluid is to use it in conjunction with pancake type make up to cover my age spots dark circles,on the circles I use a concealer under it.It covers very good using it the way I do.I only wish it mite be a little bit thicker liquid,than I think it would cover better yet.I just don't think considering my age it would work much better alone.All and all I got to say if I would have a younger complexion it would be great.
I brought this product because i have heard a lot of reviews about it,especially good ones. What i like about this product is that it has many shades for all type of skin colour. You can mix and match your own foundation to find the right shade for you. When i first tried the product at my local beauty store, it had no smell whatsoever, so, i bought one through ebay cos it was cheaper. Upon opening this product, it had this "paint" strong smell that kind of surprised me cos when i tried the same mac at my own BS, there was no smell whatsoever. So, i am guessing I was sold a knockoff on pretence of authentic mac. This kinda of knock me off on any MAC products, I don't think i would be buying any again.
I bought this product to try MAC for the first time. My basis for comparison is all kinds of drug store products and a few other high end products so I expected a lot from this foundation. However, I absolutely hated it when I first used it. The first thing I noticed was how hard it was to blend using an F80 flat top kabuki brush. Second problem was that it didn't last but a few hours before it became blotchy and broke down. The third problem was coverage, it lacked full coverage and it was very difficult to get a second layer on. The final problem for me was the finish, it was flat and unremarkable. However, there's hope for this foundation yet if you just use a little ingenuity. I mixed 1 part MAC Studio Fix Fluid + 1 part L'Oreal Lumi foundation together. I then chose to apply it with a dampened makeup sponge. I saturated the sponge with makeup and also applied dapples to my face and then used a patting motion to apply. PERFECT!!!! Not only did it tweak the shade a bit (because the MAC was too yellow), but it blended out beautifully, covered completely, lasted all day, and gave me a dewy finish and glow. Therefore, as long as I can mix MAC Studio Fix with another foundation (particularly L'Oreal Lumi) then I love this foundation, but on it's own, I found it to be worse than some of the worst drug store makeups I've ever used.Read full review
I love it! This is my first time trying a wet foundation and I am pleasantly surprised. It goes on smoothly and I only need a little dab for my entire face. Its not oily and it lasts a long time. I have super oily skin so I have to get the oil control lotion to combat shine but I'm sure the product would be excellent on its own for someone with normal skin.
I became interested in MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation when I read about it in beauty blogs. In fact it's a nice item. High quality, sun protection (very important!), many colors, light texture and covers many kinds of skin imperfections.It's perfect for my oily skin and lasts all day long. I highly recommend.
I used this for several years. I would stray but always come back to this specific foundation. Recently however I have found something I like a lot more. And it is somewhat cheaper. If you are looking for a foundation that is a little better than average..this is one to try. Out of all the MAC foundations that are carried, Studio Fix Fluid is the best. But there are a few better brands out there. Pros- Several shades to choose from. Blends well. Gives good coverage. Cons- Seems to look funny after you have worn it for awhile. Hard to explain...I guess it migrates? Nose looks like it has worn off...cheeks look blotchy...but only after several hours of wear.
I really love the MAC Studio Fix Foundation, I have been wearing it for years, it blends really well with my skin and it gives my skin a smooth look, and it looks very natural, it also looks good for a long time.
Awesome product! I have used the skincare and makeup for years finding it achieves a perfect finish. I have used the product as a light natural look for daytime and created a more elegant look in the evening. I strongly recommend the line to anyone wanting a versatile appearance.
