I attended this amazing 12-31-1987 Grateful Dead show, Took me all week to get this ONE Ticket, but I got in just before show time and I only was asked face value ($25?) for the ticket! I gave him $50 and a big THANK YOU! Coming in from KC was a long haul, but well worth it. They played 4 show in 5 days, all of which were simply amazing! NOTHING like a live GD show in 1987 thru summer of 1990, unreal band! Watch closely and you can see me walk by during the Set Break segment (tan and blue african fashekee shirt) during hte girl being interviewed about Brent Mydland's Sounds he makes...way cool! Having been in attendance this evening it's so nice to be able to sit back now and watch this over and over. Great concert and some funny skits in between. Good things? The band and other than a little red rooster which slowed what started off with high energy and then this slow one, music is awesome. Bad things it had to end. Want a time travel session? Put this on and rock out

Awesome show and the little sketches in the middle are so fun to watch. I could watch the Jerry Cooking sketch a million time.

It was nice to see Jerry Garcia again but the sound quality could have been better. There were a couple of times I had to strain to hear the words and music over the crowd noise. All in all I think it is good and I'm glad I bought it.
What can you say but the best band ever!!!!!! You can never forget your first Dead show. Long and strange trip its been!!!!
