I use this with my Boss RC-3 Loop Station pedal and it's pretty much a "must have". If you buy the switches individually you are going to spend more and have to decide on either latching or unlatched types. This one gives either switch the option for latching or unlatched and can still mount up to more switches if needed. You can use the switches for other functions, too, which is always a plus. There are different ways you can connect this switch- with a stereo insert cable, individual mono cables, or a stereo to 2 mono Y-type insert cable. For use with the Boss RC-3 I chose the Y-type cable so I could decide which switch did what or change them if I decided later I wanted them differently. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was that it does not have a jack for an adapter cord. Knowing how quickly pedals and such eat up 9V batteries, I decided to also buy a special adapter that plugs right into where the battery would. The cover still fit and snapped in place but now that it's firmly zip-tied to my pedal board, I cannot detach the cord. A strange oversight from Boss, surely. All of their other pedal products are exceptionally well thought out. Other than that, this dual switch is made rock solid like everything else they make. It's a good buy!Read full review

The Boss FS-6 is an excellent product. It is very robust and resistant. Versatile for having three types of tickets (A, B, A+B) which allows it to be used in different situations. Its metal box brings a lot of security in use and transport. The only thing that lacks is a 9 volt source connector and thus avoiding the use of batteries (especially when we use more than one FS-6 at the same time.- It is a bit expensive, but you can pay for it, it is worth it!

The FS-6 is a cool pair of pedals that give you more opportunity to use it. It is a bit pricey, but well made. The only downside that I see is that it doesn't operate off of an AC/DC power supply and if it is plugged-in then it is drawing battery life whether you use the pedals or not. And that could be expensive or let you down during a show.

I recently bought a Katana amplifier, and this foot switch is invaluable when it comes to using its full potential. It also works great with my Boss GT-8 effects processor; adding versatility for live performances. It would be nice if you could plug it in to a power converter, but the 9volt battery will last as long as you don't forget to unplug the cord. Regardless, when the battery is low the LED indicator will dim, or go out when plugged in indicating the battery needs changing.

Bought this used for my boss gt10. It's great for what I need.only thing that could be better is if it had a 9v Wall cord option, or better yet could power from the gt10. Otherwise who couldn't use extra extensions for effects options.

con runs on battery but you can get power adapter to use instead of a battery. pros works great. it is a latched or unlatched and you can change the polarity with just a couple switches. makes it work with any amp. Can be used as two foot switches. Also has ability two use a stereo cable if your amp or unit has that connection. Great foot switch.

The FS-6 pedal is perfect for drum machines with two inputs for start/stop and tempo. This unit is much classier than using two inexpensive switches that may have a combined price close to the Boss. I am using it with an Alesis SR18 and that is my only experience with it. The manner in which it powers up by simply inserting a cable is an issue for some reviewers but I have no issue or inconvenience with that. The flexibility and build are great.

I'm using this in combination with a BOSS RC-505 loop station, to start recording and to play the recorded loop, and finally to overloop. I cannot seem to get both pedals functioning, but it is an IT problem, not an issue with the unit itself. I am very satisfied with the build quality and hardy simplicity of the pedal latches, plus the ability to set each latch to momentary or toggle on/off. It has definitely aided in improving the precision for the start time while using both hands to perform with an instrument.

The feel of the switches is hands down the best. Built like a tank. This thing should last forever. Does the job. Battery power will be a downfall for some buyers but I like having less cables.

This pedal works EXACTLY how I was hoping it would for controlling the DB-90 metronome. As a drummer it is an amazing tool to use for live performance. Being able to stop/start and advance the memory for a gig is fantastic for the rest of the band. The only reason I have withheld that last start is because of the fact the pedal runs on batteries with no option for direct power source like...say...a guitar pedal. I really have no idea where the battery is at, so I have to essentially change the 9V every so often just to avoid risking it failing during a set. Otherwise, it's fantastic.
