Best Simpsons game I've played. (But I haven't played them all.) Solid gameplay. Nice move-set diversity among characters. Tho switching between them to get all the collectables would take too much time. I chose to move on to another game after beating this one, rather than trying to 100% complete it.

Every other PS3 game I have the audio works well but this one does not. The game plays and I can see it but the sound doesn’t work at all. I paid $50 for a 13 year old game and the sound doesn’t even work. Why would you sell something like this. Childhood is ruined. I wanted to play and enjoy this so bad.

Decided to buy it because it was cheap ($10 for a brand new PS3 game? sounds like a do) and because I like the Simpsons. I was hoping it would be like the Simpsons arcade game, which is one of the best arcade games of all time. Likes: Graphics are good most of the time, story line is funny, special moves/powers are fun, it feels like you are controlling an episode of the Simpsons. Dislikes: Does not have the same feel as the arcade game (a remake of the arcade game with online multiplayer would be great), Action is not continuous (you have to go around the town of Springfield to find missions, rather than non-stop action), the game is pretty easy. Additional Commentary: Although I have not played it all the way through yet, I hear that this game can be completed in about 7 hours. That is fine for me, as I do not care to play a game for months on end, but that may be a downside for most people. While blockbuster charges $9 to rent a game, I figured paying $10 to own it was a better option. I wouldn't pay much more than that for it, but if you like the Simpsons I think it is worth the buy. You can always resell it and get back at least half your investment.Read full review

The Simpson's Game is yet another game starring America's beloved dysfunctional family. It is a licensed game that features all the voice actors (there's over 8,000 original lines for the game or something ridiculously high) and some animated segments/shorts. Basically, it's a really long episode of the Simpsons, as an episode it's spectacular....as a game, it's short. Gameplay: 6/10 Pros: Each family member has a different skill set, the levels offer a great variety and reference many classic episodes. Cons: Gameplay is a heavy copycat of 3rd person platformers and even includes a troublesome camera and resulting frustration. Graphics: 8/10 Pros: Playing this game is like playing the TV show. The game captures Springfield and the look of the show better than any other Simpsons game before it. Cons: The cartoon / cel-shaded look definitely doesn't push the PS3 or Xbox360 or is all that impressive up to other next gen games. Sound/Music: 9.5/10 Pros: The Voicework and effort of the actual cast in this game pays off. The story is great and the quips during gameplay to the actual script itself is fantastic and hysterical. Lasting Appeal: 3/10 Pros: You'll absolutely want to play through the story and enjoy the script/writing and humor. If you really care about collecting things...there's PLENTY of that. Cons: I beat the main game in about 3 days and 8 hours (Great rental - terrible buy). Now that I've seen the story, the gameplay, collectibles, achievements, etc. will not bring me back to the game. I don't care about collecting Homer's bottle caps, Bart's posters, etc. (though the Video game cliche's are pretty funnY). I'm done and it was fun while it lasted...just not $60 of fun. Average: 66.25% Tilt: -1.25% As a game, the Simpson's Game isn't very good. It is an amazing Simpsons Episode with a phenomenal script, excellent voicework and decent gameplay to get you through it all. It's a great licensed game, but unfortunately if this game wasn't the Simpson's and didn't have the money and quality voice work and humor, it would probably drop an additional 10 pts or so. If your a fan of the Simpsons, you gotta rent it. If you're only a gamer, forget it. Verdict: 65%Read full review
I decided to buy this game because it was an rpg and i dont know why i just love them but this game was AWESOME but it only lasts for about a week the game is really fun to play but it gets boring if you play the same level more than once. This game is really easy each level takes about 10 minutes to beat not including the tutorial and there is only 17 levels not including springfeild the one big level. One thing that takes while to do is get each characters little poster things like homer has to collect beer bottle tops and marge has to collect coupons bart has to collect crusty the clown posters and lisa has to collect little papers that have a face of a doll lady.
I own both the Wii version and the PS3 version. I played the PS3 demo and then bought the Wii version of the game. I was greatly disappointed with the Wii version because the graphics were horrible as well as the control and camera angles. That is not to be a blight on the Wii itself, but EA did a bad job making the Wii version. That being said, this game has decent graphics, but not great. I think earlier Simpson's games looked better, especially Hit 'n Run. The game is really funny. The voice acting is the regulars from the series including other people. It is a really fun and funny game, but frustrating at times. I highly suggest this game to any Simpsons fan. It's not the best Simpson game, but it is worth it. For those who are not Simpsons fans, you might want to rent this first before you make a decision to buy or not. This game may not suit everyone's tastes.Read full review
One of the better Simpsons games, but still not a great game. Graphics are good for the time. Game play gets boring quickly.
