Excellent tool and very durable too
This unit arrived and was immediately put to use in building works. It was easy to handle, easy to change blades and the battery was brilliant too - we got the 5Ah battery which I think is needed for the unit to last any length of time. The unit is sturdy, yet easily handled and you can get a good grip on it unlike some other where your hand slips when pressure is applied. Overall, an excellent piece of kit and a necessity for anyone out on site doing this sort of job.This unit arrived and was immediately put to use in building works. Big let down.....
Bought this grinder so as not to be tied down with the usual electric leads from an extension lead or transformer. Really disappointed with the performance due to the power usage it takes to cut a few tiles. I have 4 of the original Dewalt 4ah batteries that are fairly new but each battery will only cut 3 x60cm in length maximum,before completely dying. So it’s a constant battle to have enough charged batteries on hand to do the job in hand. Think I’ll just revert back to using a mains grinder once again and put up with the annoying leads and will definitely not be recommending these grinders👎Bought this grinder so as not to be tied down with the usual electric leads from an extension lead or transformer. Great improvement from my NiCad
Always found my previous grinder to lose power quite quickly. This on the other hand, lasts for ages even using a 2 amp battery and has much better rpm too.

Very impressed with the power and versatility of this tool, ideal for cutting and grinding. Quite surprised at the speed of the motor and the duration of the battery. It's been useful when working on site, saving time and hassle setting up transformers, cables and power supplies. It's lightweight but packs a punch on performance. It's three times the cost of a traditional corded angle grinder, but well worth the money. I wish I had purchased one of these years ago. It's now an essential piece of kit that I take everywhere.
